Yeah, 2000miles on 34gallons (18 gallon aux tank and 16 gallon stock tank) ain't possible. That works out to about 58mpg. His later 800-1000mile range is more realistic with 29mpg. Even still, that's an extra 250lbs of fuel in the trunk. I doubt a 240D can get 29mpg with that much extra weight.
$2500? It's worth about $250 to me with that conversion hacked into it. |
