I don't think it is officially. It looks close, but just not quite the same. This is from the Russian vin site:
Interior leather "nappa" anthracite+highlight red (237)

The code for my 240, which is Henna is: anthracite (137)

Probably just the difference between 1982 and 1980 color.

BTW, you sure had to get past a TON of crappola to finally get to the pics.....

Given the color code 1xx or 2xx, 1 indicates MB-tex and the xx is the code. 2 indicates if it's leather. My palomino interior is MB-tex, coded as 154 and the leather is 254. See below:

I don't see "237" though, the closest is 257 which is leather Henna Red.

Isn't anthracite a dark gray color?

i love the color of the interior.
something looks wrong about the drivers rear door.
i wish i could get 35mpg.

Interesting. Also has rear headrests as an option.

430 headrests in the rear (с 01.01.1977)
safety belts, front and rear (с 01.01.1964 по 31.05.1973)

Still looks lighter than my Henna, but maybe that is just the light difference.

I thought anthracite was a dark gray also. I have found that the Russian vin site isn't always accurate. Have had several instances of that lately. Wrong options, wrong year by 2 years, etc.....
It did have the rear headrests nailed, though......

What year are those samples for? [from your attachment]

funny how all the pistures are at an angle.

Also, didnt know if it was just me or if anyone else picked up on this, from the pic taken on the left side of the exterior u can clearly see the the front half doesnt match the back half " look closely"

this is a relist. this thing has been on ebay several times with the same BS write up. He is also calling it leather and I have my doubts, it's MB tex isn't it? I just threw it up here to ask about interior colour

I don't know, it looks like that is a generic list of samples taken from the 80's since it also includes the 380SEL.

Why the differences in color between the top set and the lower set. Lower palomino is darker. Just bought a set of allegedly palomino front seats from an 82 (?) 240d and they are slightly darker than the palomino in my 85 TD.

It could be leather. The front seat bolsters have that "look". Like my wagon, the leather bolsters are very firm, and just "look" different. But who knows.......
Keep your eyes open for that Henna!!

My old SL was Henna, that car seems to be a bit more orange. But then again mine was a Florida convertible so it was fairly sun beaten.
