I was cleaning my banjo fitting, vacuum line and the over boost protection swith today when I noticed that the switch itself has a knob on top that turns. What is that knob for? IS it an adjustment knob or just a place for boost to vent, when boost is not needed to be sent from the switch to the alda sensor.

I THINK
that it is just a cover for the boost vent port. The diagram on the thing in my cars shows it is just a sol. valve,..
Drive ON!

I have the same question, but on a W116 300SD.
I just pulled off the vent knob and it is for sure a vent with a filter inside and everything. Is there an adjustment knob to increase or decrease the amount of fuel being called for? [Edited by '79 Super Turtle on 05-16-2001 at 09:18 PM] |
