1984 Mb 300d Turbo Trans Conversion
 

I have converted my automatic trans to a 4sp manual. All works extremely well, except for the noise that appears to be coming from the differential. Only make this rumbbling noise in full accelaration in 3rd and 4th gear. I have already changed out the diff., however problem seems to persist any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

when you rebuilt the drive shaft to the shorter manual tranny, you did rebuild the berring and support in the center right?
other than that, possible bad caliper, bad half shafts, and bad wheel berrings...
