Just picked my diesel up from the shop today after getting a complete pump rebuild (at Diesel Injuection Service in San Antonio--very nice folks). Mine had several o-rings start leaking in December. Was it USLD? According to the shop, probably...they said they'd been seeing a lot of VW pumps lately. But, several internal parts were worn as well due to age, and the cold start mechanism was completely inoperable, so it was time. On the bright side, the car runs much better...don't think the pump was timed quite right after last years head gasket/valve job adventure.
