Replacing Motor Mounts on 190D??
Hi All,
This weekend I am going to replace the motor mounts on my 1987 190D 2.5 (non-turbo). It looks like I should be able to loosen the motor mount bolts and then lift the engine using a floor/bottle jack with a block of wood under the oil pan. Is it this simple or is there something else I need to be aware of? Thanks. |

Answer:
The fan will break the shroud, if the shroud is not dismounted to hang loose on the fan.
