87 300d Suspension rebuild time, what to purchase?

I’m in need of replacing some suspension work on a 87 MB 300D. What should be replaced other then the shocks. Would use subject replacing the suspension mounts?
http://www.***********************/performance/basket.php?makeid=39&modelid=459&year=1987&partid=545&brandid=3086

or the strut mounts

http://www.***********************/performance/brand.php?makeid=39&modelid=459&year=1987&partid=16468

I’m hoping to do the complete job back and front. Is there any extra tools that I will be needing. Or is this simply straight forward job?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help

Your prices are better, thanks. I should have checked yours first. What else should be replaced on the suspension? Would this be a good time to replace any bushings, and do I need any special tools that you sell that I might need?

Thanks for the help.

Question More data needed.

Total miles on car.

A VIN# would help.

Any symptoms of suspension/steering handling/noise and/or tire wear pattern will help diagnosis and limit possible parts needed.

The total miles on the car is 200k, and I don't have the Vin on me. But I was hoping to just replace the shocks and be done with her. I'm under the understanding that there isn't any bushings that need to be replaced and it looks like the extra parts come with the shocks when you purchase them. I guess my other question is do I need to pick up any special tools for the job.

Thanks

Bilstein standard rear shocks should be fine, unless you carry heavy loads.

Camber strut arm, thrust arm, and subframe mounts is what gave out on my rear end. Caused clunking and prematurely wearing the edge of the tires. Youll need to have the car on a lift with something supporting the rear control arm or the spring out to easily change them.

Ive yet to change them as i havent had to the time to do so. I still have a laundry list of things to do to my 87.
