Having the correct socket is the first step...606-589-00-09-00

Torque is 40Nm.

Got that so what are the torque values?

Vacuum everything out before you pull them so nothing falls inside.

ps: If you don't mind sharing what did the injectors run?

And where did you find them?

Are you sure? That doesn't seem right. It's only 5 Nm higher than the delivery valve seals. With such a feeble torque I'd imagine big compression leaks around the injectors.

Got them from Phil at Fastlane ran $520 including core charges $418 less core charges. Sorry Donny I did not see the torque value and thanks to all:D

I'd think you could get them rebuilt at a bosch shop for a small fraction of that. Since they are charging a core you may just getting rebuilts anyway and I always prefer getting my own parts rebuilt rather than someone elses...that way I am sure they are all the right part and haven't been mistreated.

Make sure you renew the seal rings under the injectors too, BTW.

Marty I usually do that too but travel commitments with work prevent me from having my car down for the time it takes for the local Bosch shop to rebuild. I am counting on Phil and the Parts Shop folks to have the highest quality parts and they have never let me down so far. Yes these are reman too I will post my findings.

The info on AllDataDIY also specifies 40Nm of torque for the injectors.
