It looks as if the execution leaves a lot to be desired. If they'd taken a touring, welded the doors shut and smoothed them, fabricated a cab back and bed, and modified the hatch to be a tailgate, that'd be cool. However, this doesn't do anything for me.

Agreed. Looks like they basically hacked the roof and left the rest, ... there's a reason that there are no photos from anywhere but the front.

I wish I had rather not seen this, it is a hack job. It looks so bad, they are embarrassed to show pictures of the rear of it. Implied for off road use only, so it can't even be good for driving on highways.
No one will buy this. It's truly the answer to a question no one has asked.

Might be good to part out though, the euro lights are all right.

To sum up

parts car, nothing more. I can see that they didn't even close the back off. And it's GAS on top of that.

that one is very well done except for the striking resemblance to an El Camino

Here's one...

I think this one (if in better shape) would have been a pretty sweet ride...

Permanent Landau Convertible? Looks like the "bed" doesnt even reach the trunk but stops under the spoiler halfway back above the fuel tank.

As I have said before......

If I had the talent pool that Boyd Coddington has....I would build an ElCamino/Ranchero type of vehicle from a 300TD....probably would call it a Franco..or Generalissimo....or maybe El Supremo......

SB

From the looks of the car that began this thread.....I wonder what holds it together.....the unibody would get kinda flexible without the roof.....and if the underside is rusty......really flexible.....
