Because I'm too lazy to...

...go out an measure my heater hoses, what size hose do I need for the heater hose inlet and outlet, and the outlet from the cylinder head and the inlet to the water pump housing?

I have 12 feet of 3/4" heater hose that I want to use is it too big? should I get 5/8" Metric is still in it's infantcy in this part of the country...

yeah, shoulda seen that coming...

Phil sells the correct hose but there's three sizes of bulk hose to choose from. I have my aux water pump bypassed as well as my servo, because my valve siezed up in the fall...and I think all the tubing that they use to route the cooling hosese is silly. so I'm going to simplify.

You'll need metric measuring tools.

Sorry, you brought it upon yourself.

I used 3/4 hose on my heater system, but I have a W123 so a W116 *might* be different.

Goodness sakes

If he would have said it was to cold to go outside I probably would have helped, if I could. But when one admits he is just plain to lazy to figure it out, well that's pretty sad , but he will have to figure it out himself. He says "metric" is not used much in his part of the woods. I thought that the great metric BS was developed in Saskcatchewan about 1960. Well, maybe it was Manitoba or even Quebec maybe.

Yeah, in Saskatchewan, it's mainly agricultre here and alot of these farms have been in the family for generations, so new stuff like metric (since '78 here) has yet to be widely accepted. Farmers here stick with what works.

to measure something, it is surelly too cold for Biodiesel. You will need to blend at least 50-50 with petroleum diesel in the winter, maybe more.
