190D Glow Plugs
This should be an easy question for some of you out there. I am not to familiar with diesel engines and of course the cheapest and easiest way to learn is to do it myself. So, how does one go about changing my glow plugs in my 1986 190D 2.5L. It seems be a little like changing spark plugs (I understand its completely different). Any positive help would be appreciated!

Yes. Only difference is that some people ream out the hole once the glow plug is removed to get rid of any carbon that might have built up around the plug. Need a reamer to do that.

You can also use a drill bit of the same size as the tip of the gp in place of a reamer. That's what I do.
