Where to buy Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel in Columbia, SC??

Any ideas you SC guys. Went to the local Walmart on Two Notch Rd with no avail. Didn't even have a place on the rack for it. I've purchased it there before, but a long time ago. Any other location(s) to check out. Wanna change the oil but I am a few quarts short. Visited AVLube.com but the price is just too high. Comes out to $7.125/qt....

IIRC there is an advance autoparts just around the corner from wallyworld... they should have it, or be able to order it for you. about 5.80/quart

Someone had recommended to me the AMSOIL 15w-40 Heavy Duty Diesel & Marine oil as an alternative to the Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel oil. I no longer live in a cold cold climate where cold starts are an issue. Anyone had any experience w/ this oil in their diesels or comments?

Any local places in Columbia where one could buy it as well?

I was perfectly happy with the Amsoil Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine in my Cat and Mercedes diesels, but for the additional price over the Mobil product, IMO not worth it. It is not one of Amsoil's "premium" oils, the 3000 product is, but again more money and harder to find, the Mobil Delvac 1 and reputedly the Mobil 1 Truck and SUV Diesel oil are the same level synthetic oil and the truck/suv stuff is very available at Autozone for less money.

I called AutoZone and Advance Auto in my area and also other locals Performance shops that may carry it, and NOBODY has it. I just ordered the AMSOIL off their site. It actually comes out cheaper that the Mobil 1 I've found anywhere online. Plus is a 15w-40 weight, so it's alittle thicker for the hot summers in SC. On this last fill of Mobil I'm almost @ 15k. I recall running the Mobil last time @ 12.5k and had an analysis run @ 12.5k and the oil was still good, wear metals and TBN were good. Just wish I had that analysis to post. I will smaple this oil now when the AMSOIL comes in... For giggles I do change the filter every 5k. I don't mind frequesnt oil changes but if the oil is still good, why waste resources? Just my thought but I could be wrong :-)
