I know! The weather is much better. It's just the lack of light I have to deal with.

It also looks like it's going to rain. Maybe tomorrow I can take an extended lunch break and get it done.

I got all four of the white plastic nuts off. One broke in half, but one of the halfs still screws down. Will do for now. Getting the door off is a bear. I haven't managed it yet...I had already gone a little over on my break here at work.

It seems like the top wants to slide out, but the bottom is stuck. Should I be pulling out and toward the center of the car?

Hello? Fog lights?

Well, I got the headlight out and put the new one in. In the process, one of the plastic stems with the screw on the end was sacrificed. That thing just did not want to come out. After I got it back together, I decided to do the other one, too. It still worked but it didn't look right with the brand new one on there. This one came out much easier, and I saw that the same stem I broke on the other side was already broken on this one. The trickiest part about getting it back together was the turn signal. It was hard to get it tight in there. Most of the plastic nuts are pretty stripped, but I think I got it on there ok. Thanks again for the help! Another job that seemed confusing was made easy with some good help from you all.

So... on to "getting to know your car 101." I don't have an owner's manual. While I was testing the lights, I kept waiting for the two inside lights to come on. They don't. I guess these are fog lights, except they're right next to the headlights instead of lower? How do they come on? They didn't work with low beams, high beams, or blinkers. Are they supposed to and they're burnt out or is there a way to turn them on?

Pull the headlight switch outward when it's in the parking light position or the headlight position.
