coolant temp sensor on 87 300 SDL??
 

Does an 1987 300 SDL have a coolant temperature sensor that I can attach a 1.0k ohm resistor to make the aux fan kick in sooner that boiling?? Car is 1 mo old. But in Texas, dont' want to chance it when the temp goes up this spring. I notice the temp slightly goes up(but still between 80 and 100) when the ambient temp is about 75 in stop and go traffic.. Appreciate the help
