1999 300td boost sending unit not working CEL on
 

Engine light was on code said super boost curcuit A malfuction. I played around with the little switch on drivers fender well tha has line from above egr going to it removed line and put on a gauge to make sure I was gettig boost a quick blip of the throttle gave me 4 psi put line back on tapped on switch wiggled wires code cleared drove car and light stayed off .Any one know if that was the correct switch that I was messing with or did I just get lucky. under hood diagram calls it "MAP" sensor.
