recently we switch bodies on are 240d the new body has a sun roof opening. but no sun roof..

what would one have to do put one back in?

The procedure is well covered in the Factory sercive manual. Too bad braingears is gone.

Seems like you'd want the headliner and the sunroof mechanism out of the car that had the sunroof originally.

May I assume you have a sun roof to install? If so, there are different procedures as to ele. or mechanical. I have a Service Manual cirica 1982 on the 123 body. Glad to help, which one do you need to install?

... no sun roof atm... its a 77 body with an opening... we pulled all the guts outa a 80 witch had rusted out... if any one rembers the thread noob as you get lol.

it has the head liner that came with the 77 still in it... witch has a an opening for it.. with the liner in it
