84 300d Euro Brake Booster Vacuum Line
I am having trouble finding the brake booster line, went to the local indy mechanic who tried to get it but 3 hoses later and 9 weeks no luck. I am going to take it to Mercedes, I am not holding my breath, but was wondering if any of the other euro owners have had this problem and what they did. Any suggestions on where to look would be appreciated. I just broke the nipple so I drilled it out and wedged a tube in it and it works pretty good, but I would like to get a new one just in case. The connections is the problem with the other hoses Mine has no crook, both ends are straight. Will post pics if anyone wants to see.

Did they try using a NA W123 one? Does he know the differences between the two. Let me know I can probably pick one up for you tomorrow.

What is a NA w123 or how is it differnet. Most of the problems are it is too short or it has a crook in the neck that will not hook up to mine. I will post a Pic of it.

NA is normally aspirated. Chances are hes thinking an 84 is a turbo 617 (which has alot of vacuum hoses and two portioning valves instead of 1) instead of an 84 non turbo (which your euro most likely is). Tell him to try one from 81 or less. Or like I said I can pull one for you tomorrow AM. PM me if you want me to pull it. Should be $20 or less.
