torque specs for flexplate to torque converter bolts
 

any one know what the torque should be for the bolts that attach the flex plate to the torque converter 81 300D? I had a flex plate crack on my 240D don`t want to play that game again. My manual doesn`t have it and couldn`t find it in a search. Thank`s Rick

Haynes Manual specifies 42 Nm.

right on thank you . i`ve got Chilton and it doesn`t say . I`ve got all the bolts in except the troque converter and cross member. should have it going tommorrow. Thank`s again Rick

Do you have any photos of the flex plate location...my 300td sounds like there is a can dreagging underneath it but I have not been able to locate the flex disk to check it. Newbie.
