I sent him a question about what really didn't work, as the car has no tach, only a clock...

Yep, that was my point. Claims to have used it as a daily driver but didn't know it didn't have/never had a tach. Hmmm...

The CLOCK was not working, this has been taking care of.
My mistake, there is no tacho, I meant the clock.
The speedometer and other instruments works fine and mileage is 100% accurate.
