Not in the USA at least. They did make a n/a manual, but not in the usa either.

I have done a little research, and I think I am going to go with an 82-85 300D or (preferrably) a 78-85 300SD. I really kind of need the extra power from the turbo to survive in a city with no merge lanes on the freeway.

The surface rust I saw was mostly on the end of the doors (from bumping and chipping paint). All of the door/trunk seals are cracked, but not showing signs of leaking yet. I would have to replace them.

Anyway, I emailed him seeing if he is going to be willing to drop the price, but I haven't heard anything back yet. Oh well, I kind of wanted this car too.
I bought an '83 300D auto on Ebay in December. In Syracuse, New York for $785, PO said second gear was gone, but I was able to tweak the vac system and it runs and shifts great. Also a little surface rust that I can take care of. My '83 240D manual , I bought on Ebay for $2325 in immaculate condition, I would say an 8 out of 10. $2800 is way high, I guess to say about $2000 would be my upper limit.
