Both of mine are cracked.
Does replacement net a huge loss in noise? Why does the bracket crack so often? |

THe reason the brackets break is poor design The bracket isn't thick enough to resist vibration which work hardens it. It then becomes brittle and breaks. I made brackets out of thicker steel and they haven't broken. P E H |

WHere do the heat shields fit in? I never saw any shields on any of my 3 300SDs.

I found that when I install my heat shields on the 300D they only added to the noise
Maybe I was too afraid I'd tear them by over tighten them. |
