Yeay! I found water leak into the trunk! 82 SD
I knew the trunk seal was torn, so I replaced it, and it made no dif on the water into the trunk.
gave up, and put my daughter in the trunk with a flashlight. the fuel fill area was spewing water in. there is a large seal around the thing, it was not torn, but it was not set well. I removed it, cleaned it, treated it with some armorall, and put it back in with the compressed side on top. I also pulled the part against the spout seal out, so it did not have a large cup to hold water. I ran the hose heavy over it, the drain worked just as it was supposed to, and no water got in the trunk! John |
LOL - I like the daughter in the trunk trick. Now I need to find someone's daughter to borrow long enough to find the leak in mine ...

HAA yeah, I had to COMPLETELY clean out the trunk before she would get in!
