LR Window Intermittent
Ive read through the archives on the subject and done the checks...the window is stuck near the up position. It worked this morning, and ceased operating while I was investigating the fact that this window chatters going down past 2".
I am getting voltage at the connector in the door. I have ruled out the switch itself (swapped it to other window). I jumped the voltage to one terminal of the motor, and grounded the other. Nothing, i think this should have moved the motor (it did on the other window, with sparks). Tested the resistance across the motor terminals, I am seeing 1.2 ohms - looks like a motor. Anything to do befor pulling the motor? Can I remove the motor stuck in the up position? I cant figure out how from looking at it. Thanks, dd
