Thats about $7650US at the moment. It sounds a little high for the mileage. It's hard to tell anything from the photos, but it would have to be in very good condition to justify the price.

looks pretty nice. is that in canada?

i always cringe when i see those chrome fender lips.... a good way to hide rust and a good way to start it if the fenders are solid.

the joint between the plastic bumper extension on the drivers side rear and the painted fender is a place where these cars like to get some rust. the picture is not clear there, so it is a place to look out for.

the price if in canadian is commensurate with a very very nice car of this vintage.

the difference between that and just decent is impossible to discern in photos.

good luck

A couple of thoughts.
It is very clean, and looks very nice.
It is more than I would ever pay for a 300SD.
I know they are few and far between north of the 48. That may influence a different opinion.

No photos of the entire dash. Only a couple and they seem to be avoiding the usual cracked areas. Way too high a price imo.

well, they put newer wheels on there though no big deal. In any case I just facilitated the purchase of a 1986 SDL with similar mileage, southern car with not a speck of rust on it and virtually brand new looking undercoating. Paint and interior had the wear of a car with 180K miles on it. Awesome color combo too. (green with palomino interior)

Price : $4300 (and yes a LWB)

Sure, it had a #14 head and 603 vs. 617 is a religious question so depends on what you're looking for.

I'd say that dealer is at least 50% overpriced.

Hmm... an 81 SD with tex and rear headrests... not options that will fetch a premium but it's the first I've seen set-up that way.
