I would think a celebrity status of ownership would put an extra 50 % to the restored value,I think Janice Joplins painted porshe brought some $300,000. at auction ,this could be a rich fans dream car.

Well i got a response back from mbusa,

Ill be heading back down there today to take another look and find out what its going to take to get the car as a restoration project. And base my decision on that.

Where is this place? I need parts, but I'd actually be interested in the whole car from you, as is, if you can make an arrangement with the guy. I'm the 300CD guy around here, let me at 'em, all of them, in my warehouse, wherever I can get 'em from, in almost any shape. If not for resto, than for parts. I'm up to eight 300CD's already. All in Silver with black interiors-No joke.. I may as well add that Gold Beauty, with Fleetwood Mac stat. to my stable. I'll come and pick it up. You can keep all the papers if you want them, just photocopy them for me, and I'll put the car back together, for myself.
