saw a nice car this morning........
was having coffee at the hyperion this morning. downtown fredericksburg, va. spotted a car that caught my attention parked about a block away. went to see in detail. an 83 300sd. with 300sdl rims. silver with blue interior. paint very good to excellent. interior near perfect. 130k miles. the owner, a 'shopkeeper', came out and i chatted with him. the car is a recent addition to his stable. he paid $7500. and is thinking of selling as his wife is a little tired of all the cars. $7500 is steep. but the car really looked good. and the owner claims everything 'works'. including the air. a 134a conversion. my morning experience.........

I just sold our 82 300SD with 230k and a new trans. Great paint and interior, working ac, cruise, and almost everything else. $2500.
$7500 is way high in my opinion.
