central locking on 1980 240d

I am just about to purchase a 1980 240d with 50,000 miles. I'm very excited and will post pics next week when I get it.

The car is basically mint except. There are couple of things that I'm not sure about.

1)Antenna does not move electrically. Does this car have a power antenna? It has the standard Becker Europa and rear mount antenna.

2) the central locking does not work for the trunk, only for the 4 doors and the fuel flap. Is this normal or should it lock/unlock the trunk as well?

3) sunroof tends to need manual assistance closing. It is power operated. Anything that can be done to loosen it up?

thanks
Mark

Wow, you have a sunroof on a 240? I thought that wasn't an option on those...
I too have an 80 240 (the later build w123 chassis), it originally had a Becker Europa in it, (never got it with the car) and it has a Hirschmann power antenna with the toggle switch on the center console. As far as I know there is no locking device on the fuel door on these (none on either of mine). If you pop off the black plastic cover in the trunk by the latch you will see the vac locking setup, there is a rod that sometimes gets bent in there, otherwise you'll have to explore to find the cause.
