450 W116 sunroof in 300SD W116
If i got all the guts and switches out of a parts car including the actual roof part couldi cut a hole in my roof and make everything work?

I'd sure be skeptical that I could get the entire frame correct and leakproof. I think it would be a whole can of worms. IMHO.

It wouldn't look right without some very good welding and bodywork on the roof.

i might go tear out the headliner of the parts car and see what the deal is in there. i wouldn't think it would be too bad.
maybe if i got all the parts then had a sunroof installation place put it all in for a small fee.

A sunroof is great but, IMHO, it's not worth that much work.
