Trailering W123 with SLS
Vstech's post about towing a TD with SLS prompts me to ask about trailering a sedan with SLS. I just bought a Euro 300D with SLS, and will have it transported from NY to IL. Might the typical chain-it-to-a-truck-trailer method of securing do any damage to the SLS system?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts on the matter! Chris

As long as they are careful about it, no. 300D with SLS is rare indeed. Does it have ABS? The fancy seatbelts?

Thanks, Winmutt -- it's titled as an '80, Russian site says '78, so either way, I think it's pre-ABS. Seller made no note of it, anyway. It's NA -- interesting beast! Maybe I'll find a manual tranny for it in due time. Seat belts looked normal in the pics, but all I could see what the receiver. What are the "fancy seat belts?" I wasn't even aware they were different!
