Please help!!!!! Question for 124 or 201 body Service Manual

Looking for what the 124 or 201 FSM says about pulling the 2 diff mount (subframe bushings).

Do I pull them out towards the back of the car (tail-lights) or

The front of the car???

I really don't want to ruin my subframe and would like to know what the manual says. I'm in the middle of it right now. I just figured I was doing it right because it seemed intuitive with the puller tool I bought. But now I'm second guessing and would hate to ruin a perfectly good car.

Please help!!!!

I'm not sure what you mean...the w201 mounts are pulled from the top and bottom of the subframe. See the attached pic for an illustration of the subframe. You can make your own puller tool pretty easily, I made one for about fifty cents of scrap steel and another dollar's worth of threaded rod:

Please see my other thread with the photo. I have the sir tools puller. I think the part we're talking about may be two different things.
