85 300TD Wagon , rear shocks

my wagons SLS has been isolated when I bought it ,, I dont like the ride it gives me ,, I cannot find another SLS for it ,, so want to convert to regular shocks ,,,

Does anyone know if a 85 wagon didnt come with a SLS?

Are the chasis the same from a sedan and wagon?

I was told to look for " Bilsteins " ,,, what are they ?
