What's it worth?

Hi Everyone,
I found a good deal on a 76 300D in good shape in town. I don't have much money and can't afford to have extra cars (ie: more than the one I drive every day). So this has me thinking about selling my 81 300TD, which is not in the best shape, in order to buy this other one... but I don't know what it is really worth. I will try to describe the condition, and you tell me what it is worth.

1981 300TD Automatic Wagon Cream color

General info:
-Engine runs strong, daily driver 25+ miles daily for several months with no issues. Engine sounds great at 75.
-Starts every time in winter when using installed block heater.
-Odo reads 230,000 and does appear to work, but I haven't watched it that closely to see if it always works or that it is accurate. With that many miles, it never seemed to matter much to me.
-New starter
-new rear CV axles
-No smoking other than on cold startup
-still has all manuals, jack, original toolkit, firstaid kit, etc.
-newish battery

The bad:
- rust: not a ton, but some rust in small paint knicks. Bubbling behind front DS wheel on fender behind paneling strip, and full fledged rust holes on fender behind PS wheel, with panneling hanging by the last hole. Rust on the "corners" (I think that is what people call it), I think all four corners have about 1" in diameter rust holes through. Jackpoints are still good, and no like big holes rusted through the middle of the doors or anything (I am in Wisconsin, so what we call "minor rust" would probably scare away most people from other regions).
- Fuel Guage doesn't work
- Windows not opperational, though they were before. I blew a fuse trying to fix one in the middle of winter, and then disconnected them all from the switch panel behind the shifter until warmer weather comes around... this will be fixed soon I hope
- its bouncy, though recently I discovered that a lot of the bounce has to do as much with the worn out springs in the seats as it does with the suspension.
- Carpet is missing from under the PS in front and back. Just the bare floor covered up with floormats
- Transmission "flares" between 1&2, and between 2&3, but in a different way.
- Leaks enough oil to have to add a quart every fill-up or two (every 300 or so miles). Not sure what the cause is.
- Smoke comes from under the hood, seemingly from the same place where the oil is leaking from (not sure where, though I know it is not the pan gasket because I replaced that). When you look under the car, you can see air/smoke puffing out somewhere above the oil pan in unison with the firing of the engine & oil seems to drip down from approximately the same place (any guesses what this might be would be much appreciated, because I would like to fix it but have no idea what it is!).
- Leaks a small amount of fuel (like a few drips overnight) from a deteriorating hose coming off the fuel tank
- AC doesn't blow cold, not sure what the problem is (never really cared enough to check)
- Replacement radio w/tape deck - tape deck works, AM works, FM doesn't
- Automatic antena has become permanently extended antena
- Dent just in front of DS tail light & cracked (& taped over) tail light. (Dent appears to not have been major or to have been popped back out somewhat).

Of course I didn't know all this when I bought it (for $1900) from someone else who only had it for a couple weeks (and likely didn't know all this either), but I am too honest not to tell someone the things I know are wrong (particularly the ones you can't just see by looking at it). Needs a lot of work to be perfect, but then again functions well enough to be a dependable daily driver.

Any input would be much appreciated! Also, any advice on how to take care of the problems I have mentioned would be equally appreciated. I would just as well keep it and not keep circulating this car to all kinds of other owners who will probably neglect the problems like I am thinking of doing.

-Chet

Sounds like it's worth about what you spent on it, maybe a few hundred less.
