I second that. TDIclub.com is an excellent resource for info on all TDIs.

I purchsed my '04 Jetta TDI two months ago and have already made use of the forum.

Fred's TDI Club is *the* definitive TDI forum.

I don't so much like the structure of it though, they have this general bucket called "TDI 101" that everything seems to fall under. I always end up posting there because there is no more fitting category, but it feels wrong since the description of the forum is: Got a simple/basic TDI question? Are you a newbie (new to the forums). Feel free to post your question here.

Sorry but I don't think de-coupling the IP head from the IP body to replace a seal is *basic*, but tell me another, more fitting category?? There is none.

I'll be selling my 4-door, 5-speed Golf TDI in a few weeks

Previous owner tdi owner

I have owned two tdi's. One thing I will say is the build quality of germany and mexico differs greatly. Be sure the models you are looking at are german. I had little annoying problems with the mexico built car(1999.5 Jetta) You can Isolate about every problem which wont be much that will happen to the passats mostly german made......
