Anyone have any tips on installing a Pyrometer probe? I'm looking toi nstall one pre-turbo, and mount the gauge up by my boost gauge on the A-Pillar. Any tips or pictures would be appreciated.

installing one in a W210 shouldn't be much different than any other diesel. Actually, it should be much more easy since you don't have the intake manifold to deal with.

When you put everything back together, use plenty of anti-seize on every bolt, nut and exhaust clamp. If you ever have to take it off again in the future, you will thank yourself for doing it.

I want to change that gauge out to the VDO one but, want to install a pyrometer, and perhaps an oil pressure gauge.

egauges sells a kit with the POD, Tubing, and gauge. I bought a gas one that had a vacuum side, but plan on replacing it with a diesel one. I purchased an extra a-pillar and had it upholstered in a "factory like" cloth with the gauge. It doesn't look too ricey (something I was afraid of when installing A-Pillar gauges). Anyways I need to come up with a game plan, for adding a couple more gauges.
