April showers, need wiper blade help

My sister got me the Bosch wiper blades for my birthday. A nice gift because I never would have bought them myself.

Problem is, I can not get them on. At first, I thought they were the wrong ones, but the part number matches the the one on Fastlane. So why won't they snap on?

The wiper arm on my car is about 1cm thick down to about 1/2cm at the very tip - the tip that goes into the wiper housing. It seems like the 1cm doesn't fit. I was pulling and pulling, but they wouldn't snap in. Are they really this hard to get in, or do I have some kind of aftermarket wiper arm?

you may want to take some pictures of your wiper arm and post them for us to look at.
I belive the bocsh arms have a lever that lifts up to allow the arm to fit into the blade.
I just use the rainx brand wipers, so far so good.

I'll take some pictures when I get home if it's not pouring outside. I have the rainx wipers on there now. The passenger side one pops off so much I had to duct tape it to the wiper arm. Totally ghetto.

I put Bosch Icons the SD, a little tricky, but they're on. I had to open the clip on the wper, and hook it on, pull down, snapped in, closed clip. Doin' fine.

I just replaced the rubber bit. It slides right in.
