Exhaust Leak- need help '87 300TD
there is a short stainless steel piece of expansion pipe that connects the exhaust manifold to the turbo. It has a fine crack in one of the corrugations. Under low throttle, it doesnt leak much, but step on the pedal and it belches.
Whats the best way to fix it? |

Replace it. Not much you can do to fix that stuff. Chances are a weld repair will just make crack move to another locaton. Good luck, Jim
