Amazing that it made it this far without a Trapectomy!
Check out the fuel return lines, odd whitish color, I wonder where they got that stuff?
Its way overpriced !

The daisy-chained return lines? Those are the OEM rubber/braided-cloth lines. Buy 'em by the meter from your MB dealership. I had to replace mine a few months ago, they were leaking all over the place.

Never heard of a car that runs "Smothe"......what do you guys think it means? ;)

You lost me on the "trap" thing. Please elaborate.

As for the fuel lines, he has probably sprayed the engine down with a power washer using a bleach solution.

Trap oxidizer (sim to cat. converter).

There is black and white return line material. My 85 is black, the 99 white.

Fairly clean and likely rust free. Quick somebody grab it! RT

I've been e-mailing back-n-forth with the seller about the trap. He seemed pretty excited to find out about it.

"yeah you should buy my car and change it your self and make it a Fighter Jet COOOL !" :D
