Now how's that for a rule? Simple, elegant, I like it!

No! 0-60mph, we're talking an 11 second 0-60. Given the time and top speed reached that's aproximately an 1/8 mile. Though I'd love to make a 13 second 1/4, I just don't think a OM617 would live through more than a couple of them. I suppose a nice 351w would be the easiest way to get a 300CD into the 13s in a 1/4. (Did I say that aloud? Oh S#!t, where's my flame suit! I can't find my flame suit! Oh god, it burns, it burns!......) No I have no plans of swapping in a gas motor. A 603... maybe, but probably not.

Bosch M-type injection pump commonly found on European non-turbo 300D's. The pumps used in the US of A are a MW-type pump.

This type allows one to send it to Finland for the SuperTurbo masters to upgrade the pump plungers to larger plungers as well as some secret tuning techniques.
