w123 console wood panel
How can you repair the plastic pin on the tail end of the zembrano wood in the console?
I tried gluing a make shift pin, but it broke in a few days. Thanks!

Price out the 2 options below
1. Go to the dealer and buy a 240D plastic center console or 2. Go to a junk dealer and find a really bad wood trim console ( think cheap but with a good pin) or a 240D plastic unit. If you get the wood trim. Cut out the pin with the plastic. Notice the edges are beveled and it will slide into the good piece that you have. Or do what I did. Buy a 240D plastic trim piece and cut the pin and surounding area to fit the good trim piece. A little epoxy ( watch out for drips) and your good to go. Dave

I have seen one with a screw screwed through there to work like the pin did.
