I donot fear small amount in the filter but donot want to
use starting fluid as a tank flush in mass amounts
as starting fluid like to go BANG FAR TOOO EAZYLY
but the stuff cleans the filters far better then dish soap or lysol or windex
that I al;so have tryed to clean the primary filters for reuse

Starting fluid is Either in a luquid carrier. Either is a gas at room temp. so I don't see how it would help in your tank.
When you spray something off in your hand it has a chance to clean before it evaporates. I would think if you dumped a bunch in your tank you would end up with an lot of (explosive) gas at the top of the tank comming out of the tank vent.

fruitcakesa-It is nice that the biodiesel did some clean up but I have read that things can also grow in biodiesel. There may be spores or whatever left in the tank residue that will come to life later.
Follow up with Starntron on another boicide shouds like a resonable idea.
