Fuel Leak

My 1993 300D 2.5 turbo has a fuel leak. It is coming out of the top where the fuel lines feed the injectors. It has a splined nut and collars that hold them in place. I have looked through the manual and can't find anything about replacing these seals. What kind of material are these seals? Are they copper washers or o rings? How difficult is this and where can I get a socket or box wrench for this spline?
Donnie

I am not that familiar with your model, and it is not clear from your post exactly where the leak is. I believe you are saying the leak is at the top of the injection pump. If that is the case do a search on the subject of fuel leakage from the injection pump fuel delivery valves. This is a common problem, and relatively easy to fix.

If another member with more specific information has the time they may offer better suggestions, specific to your model. But I think you need to confirm exactly where the leak is. Good luck, Jim

Sounds like delivery valve seals and crush washers. If you do one,do all.

How ironic. I just did mine yesterday. O-rings and crush washers solved the problem !!
