Start me up!`

Just finished a starter replacement. I had the classic "click" symptom which gradually got worse. Checked voltage at the fender terminal and cleaned the wires/terminations to no avail. Picked up a remanufactured Bosch unit and two hours later, she fires up like new.
The top bolt on the bellhousing was a challenge, but with a little patience and a long extension in the trans tunnel, it finally cooperated.
I'm so glad that's done- It's highly embarrassing to be seen hot-wiring a fine luxury automobile in the supermarket parking lot!

with these cars you dont even need to hotwire it... all you need is a screwdriver...
