Another "pampered, highway miles, hard-to-find color rare TD" LOL

I usually just ignore this guy with his many ebay seller names, but this one caught me as particularly humorous, being another "hardest to find color" (translation might mean so ugly that nobody would have ordered it in this color LOL), rare, pampered, highway miles florida Mercedes, ... makes me wonder why it is wearing four Hakkapeliitta snow tires.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1987-300TD-W124-TURBO-DIESEL-WAGON-7-SEATER-WARRANTY_W0QQitemZ120109520485QQihZ002QQcategoryZ6330QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

This guy gives Mercedes a bad name.

pics

that's a boatload of pics. Sheesh. Go through them fast enough and its like a little motion picture. Like flipping pages with little stick figures in different poses. Car looks nice. Remember boys, ebay sellers aren't necessarily mb pros. Today thay may be selling the mb sizzle and tomorrow they may be selling the Schwinn Varsity sizzle. Ebay is not where you find deals. Garage sales are where you find deals. Ebay is where you find stuff that generally sells for what the overwhealming majority of folks will pay for it.

This is like the fifth time he's tried to sell this car. Loads of items that dont match on the car. Check the lug bolts for example. Don't buy a car from this guy is the general view here.

I'm getting real sick of that guy - I wonder how many people he's screwed.

Do people in Florida regularly attach their spare then go driving in the mud? How come many of his cars have very dirty spares shown in the pictures?

There's also a very nice shot of the left-rear door panel, where it is coming loose at the top.

100% only with this username. Notice that all of those few sales were parts, not cars.

Hakkapeliitta makes many different tires, NRW's on this car, all seasons with Severe Service Emblem. They do make awsome snow tires, some of the best IMO.

NRW is a snow tire, a damn good one too. Ran them on my Land Rover.

Personally I rate the Hakks well above any others I've tried in snow, which include the Blizzcraps, the Dumlumps, and the Michelin Arctic Alpins. Excellent excellent snow tires.

I've seen several cars this guy's listed.. I always like browsing through the pics because his cars are always very clean and classy... I'd agree he's an MB neophite, but his cars are all very good-looking anyhow.... And usually are well documented too.....

That's his M.O. He sells 10 items under a new name and then unloads one of his cars. His ads all look the same and are all from St. Pete, FL. He always has tons of pictures. Real nice guy I'm sure!

Much nicer

I've been watching that one too, updated head, 8-hole wheels, apparently honest ad, within 10minutes of my father's place, ... but who'll bet that it hits 8K before it's over?

On the St. Pete guy, his cars often have an interesting orange-peel look in the photos, kind of like he has a yearly subscription to Maaco. Always says the same things about it being highway miles and always serviced by M-B dealers, having SOME documentation but not guaranteed, ...??? what does that mean? I think it smelling fishy has nothing to do with being near the ocean.
