Auxiliary Fan Blowing Fuse
My auxiliary fan keeps blowing the #3 fuse and I'm sick of changing it when I realize it's blown because my car is at 200 degrees.
What are some common reason for the blown fuse? If the fan is dead, can I replace the brushes? If yes, where can I get the brushes for the fan? If no, are there inexpensive alternatives to fix the problem without replacing the whole fan?

mine did that in my 83. Had to replace it to keep from blowingthe fuse.
As important as it is to the cooling of your car and operationof the AC, why not fix it properly. Brushes are one thing, but I think it is more a seizing of something inside. JMH
