I have an 85' 300D and I have no idea how to turn on the cruise control on it, I know that my car has cruise control but I need help finding out how to activate it. Can anyone help please? Thanks.

You dont "activate it" in the sense that you have to on American cars. It's always activated. You simply push the stalk up (as if you were indicating a right turn) to set the speed you want. Assuming it's working... it will then maintain the set speed.

Post Look closely at the stalk.....

The Cruise Control stalk/switch has instructions printed on it.....at least my '85 300D does.....little arrows pointing left and right and forward and back...with the functions that they perform.....

the controls are universal to all the MB's I have seen. even my dad's new 02 320C Wagon.
only one different I have seen was on my 85 euro, the instructions are in german!
