W116 seats the same as W123?
I have come across a set of W116 seats with good seat springs. The seats look identical to the early style seats in my ’79 W123.
Is there any difference between the W116 and W123 seats? Does anybody know if the seat springs from W116s or early W123s will fit the later W123s? MY '85 needs new springs. Thank you.

I cant say about the W116 seats, however I do know that W126 seats will fit in a W123, you can bolt the front seats directly to the W123 manual adjust sliders.
Since a W126 seats will fit, I think a W116 will fit just as well.
