In my 87 300tdt if I glow until the relay clicks- 30 sec's i think, does that mean that i get no afterglow? is that bad? thanks

No afterglow on the '87 603 engine.

So far I never needed it, just glow twice on a cold day (well, its never been below freezing here!

You can also upgrade to 60 seconds or 180 seconds of afterglow, but if will cost you more than the violet wire afterglow. Search this forum and you will find both options.
