Fuel Leak around IP OM603
 

Hi Guys
I fired up the 86 SDL today (sat for 2 mos in the garage)
and it seems to be puking fluid around the IP area.

I checked the fuel line fitting, doesnt seem to be coming from there.

Any suggestions?

it's time for new delivery valve seals. There is a socket available from rusty to remove and re-install those splined fittings. The items to be replaced are the "O" rings and the copper washers, both very inexpensive and a fairly easy job to do, it will require a torque wrench though.

I've got viton delivery valve o-rings in stock and ready to ship.

I can even do it with out being grumpy, honest!

Just did that for my car within the last week....

Not expensive at all, and easy fix....:D

DOH! If I knew you carried em, I woulda picked up a set from you! DANG! I already have a set sitting in will call!
