I picked up a set of rims at the boneyard from a 190, unknown year, to put on my '83 SD. Pattern works, however, you'll need spacers and longer lug bolts. Fits fine on rear. Fronts are a different story, have destroyed one, am in the process of dealing with the folks I purchased spacers from.

If you want that style on your 116 or 126, best bet is to find some from a 86-91 126 or 86-89 107. No spacers needed, just different bolts.

My rims are the same style but are from a 560SEL. Only the bolts are longer, everything else works fine.

No they will not fit a W126, I don't know about the W116 but I doubt it.
