I usualy run the SDL to 450ish miles, I don't like to run it down to far because I don't want to run out of fuel. It will usualy take just under 20 gallons to fill up, so I have almost 4 left which is a good margin. I wouldn't hear the end of that if someone I knew saw me on the side of the road waiting for MB roadside...

If I ever did long distance trips I could probably push it out another 100 miles.

My theory is that the car runs just as good on the first half as the second half.

Just checked my mileage today. 130 miles highway driving back and forth to work at 60 to 65 mph on 3.9 gallons. Equates to roughly 32 mpg. Running bio & petro mix. Roughly 70% bio.

I thought that these cars were supposed to get like 500 miles on one tank. Or is that highway miles, because I do mostly city driving. Any ideas?
That sounds about right for city driving, your tank holds a little over 20 gallons so you are talking about mileage in the "low 20s." You may get mid-20s on the highway (at moderate speeds), and you might get close to 30 mpg is you drive very carefully. Getting better than 30 mpg requires a serious effort. II probably average around 25 mpg on the highway, but I can get it down to the low 20s if I drive at 75-80 mph.

If I drive all city I fill up around 350-400 miles.....if I do all highway (or 55mph econo-driving) then I push it to about 425. When I bought the car I filled it up and drove nonstop 514.3 miles.....thats when it stalled and I coasted to the side of the freeway. Just then realizing my tank gauge didn't work. A cop helped me out and I was on my way within 20-25 mins.

300 Sdl

I usually go 500 miles per tank, although I'm comfortable going 550 miles per tank when on a trip.

Approx 30 MPG. I can go approx 535 miles on a tank. Then I'm empty Literally. ... Oh How do I know...... 500 is the max I'll drive, but when I get to a quarter tank I'll start looking.
